This Site is occupied by a plumbing supply distribution and storage yard. Closure by removal of one abandoned 1,000-gallon gasoline Underground Storage Tank that was partially filled with sand. Diesel, gasoline, benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, and xylene concentrations from several soil samples exceeded Model Toxics Control Act Method "A" clean-up action levels. Extracted and removed 5.4 Tons of petroleum contaminated soil that was disposed at a licensed off-Site disposal facility. |
A No Further Action letter was obtained by the local health department. The property has been sold and is now occupied by an active construction yard and office. |

Permanent closure by removal of three abandoned gasoline Underground Storage Tanks at a former gasoline service station which operated in the 1950’s. Gasoline concentrations in soil surrounding the tanks did not exceed Model Toxics Control Act Method "A" clean-up action levels. 20 Tons of gasoline impacted soil found inside the Underground Storage Tanks was properly characterized and disposed of at a licensed off-Site facility. |
The property owner is currently obtaining permits for a commercial development. |

Based on the Grand Penetrating Radar survey and information obtained from limited research, Underground Storage Tanks were not identified beneath the two areas investigated. Subsurface anomalies indicating UST presence was not detected according to the equipment operator. |
